How we approach sustainability
By William Rainbird
We are passionate about crafting quality garments with awareness at every step. Our production lines are intentionally small with focus on natural fabrications and seasonless Australian design for a greater sustainable future. With plans in the pipeline to expand our sourcing of natural fabrics, and utilising our future factories to create more sustainable fashion in Australia, we would love to continue to inspire people to discover their personal style and share the fashion inspiration they seek."
Clothing & accessories are all handmade, hand-finishing and hand-cutting with natural dyes and natural fibres. On her approach to ethical fashion: "I believe that there is something really magical and ethical about the items that you make yourself. Whether it's clothes or a piece of jewellery, you can see the touch and feel of the raw materials and their gentle workmanship. The labour involved in the production of your garments creates a real quality and integrity."
On her approach to ethical fashion: "The luxury fashion industry is one of the biggest producers of waste in the world. What is also shocking is that most fashion brands do not consider their production practices to be ethical. If ethical and sustainable practices were commonplace, many of the hazardous chemicals that are found in the production of fashion could be eliminated and the impact on our environment and our health would be reduced significantly."
